About the company – Asian Paints Ltd. was incorporated a long way back, before independence in 1942. Today it stands as the third largest paint company in Asia and the largest paints major in India. Asian Paints runs business in 17 countries, has 25 paint manufacturing units across the world and provides paints and related service to consumers in more than 65 countries.

After acquisition Asian Paints kept the name intact sold paints under BIL brand name as well to maximize profit potential.
