Every year these three exchanges publish their holiday list. Hence, this year also NSE, BSE, and MCX Trading Holiday list of 2022 has been published. Hence the stock market of India decided to publish a list of holidays every year so that people could know on which days the market will remain close. So that traders could map up their figures and people could enjoy their festival as well. That is why NSE, BSE, and MCX provide holidays.

If any holiday falls on Sunday does the market remain close on Monday?

As the market stays close on Saturdays and Sundays if any holiday falls under that then the holiday does not continue on Mondays. That means you can start trading on Monday normally like the way you do after any Sunday.

During Navratri does the market stay close for 3 to 4 days?

No, the market remains close for just one day that is Dussehra. Though the celebration started and continues for the next nine days the market stays close for only one day that is the last day.

Does MCX stay close in both sessions?

No, there is very few occasion when the MCX market remain close for both morning session and evening session. Good Friday and Republic day are those occasions when the market stays close for both sessions.

Nse Exchange: The National Stock Exchange of India, or NSE, is the country’s newest stock exchange. November 1992 was the start date. The National Stock Exchange is touted to be India’s first fully automated electronic exchange.

BSE Exchange: Bombay Stock Exchange or BSE is the oldest stock market in India. Originally belongs from Kolkata later transferred to Mumbai. At that time Mumbai use to be known as Bombay. That is why it gets the name of Bombay exchange. Though the metro city changes its name later the exchange remains its name same.

MCX Holiday list 2022

MCX Exchange: The Multi Commodity Market, or MCX, is an electronic futures trading exchange for commodities. National Commodity And Derivative Exchange NCDEX, on the other hand, is an online multi-commodity trading exchange. The MCX, as the name suggests, is a platform for commodity trading.

MCX holidays often are not a full day off. There are a few days that contains a full day off but maximum days are half-close. That means either of the morning session is open for trading and the evening session is off for that day. The exchange itself publishes such a holiday list.
